Jennifer Hawkins’ life looks a little different these days, compared to her past as an international model.
In recent years, the former Miss Universe Australia’s days are filled with early mornings, nappies and cuddles as she has totally embraced family life, marriage and motherhood.
In 2013, Jen and husband Jake Wall tied the knot but they initially struggled to fall pregnant due to a fertility battle. The model and businesswoman later discovered she had endometriosis.
“As a woman and a type A personality, I’m used to planning everything. I think this will happen, then this will happen. It seemed like a lifetime as month after month people constantly asked us when we were going to have a baby,” Jen told Stellar Magazine in 2019.
However by October 2019, Jen and Jake were parents to their precious daughter, Frankie Violet. During an appearance on The Morning Show, the smitten new mum made it clear that it’s the highlight of her life.
“I’m absolutely loving it, but it’s not glamorous at all is it?” she remarked.
“There’s so many things you laugh about, like the spews and poos and everything that happens. You’re with them 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so it feels like she’s been with me for two years. You’re up feeding, sleep deprivation, everything. Everything changes when you become a mum.”
For the next two years, Jen would share precious moments with Frankie, like her daughter eating cake with her fists and trying on her mother’s oversized heels.
But Jake and Jen’s oasis of three grew to a perfect four when their son Hendrix Hawkins-Wall came into the world in October 2021, and the sharing of precious moments extended to include little Hendrix.

“Happy 2nd birthday to our beautiful little boy Hendrix!! Such a sweet soul, so caring, affectionate! Also a funny little dude! We love you so much!! I’m so proud to be your mummy,” Jennifer wrote alongside an adorable montage of family videos and photos.
