If you watched the first episode of this year’s Married at First Sight, we’re sure you want to know more about Lauren’s sister.
Did you miss the episode? Let us quickly catch you up.
Lauren’s sister Tamara honestly stole the episode with her erratic but hilarious behaviour.
The first thing Tamara says in the episode is, “I’m not wearing any undies, so you can’t get any box shots… Or you can.”
If that doesn’t tip you off to what she’s like, we don’t know what will.
Other Tamara highlights from MAFS Episode 1 include:
- Saying to Lauren’s face that she has been “horrendous” in the lead-up to the wedding.
- Saying “I’m definitely skinnier than you” to Lauren right before her wedding.
- Asking Lauren “Can you shut up?” and “Do you want me to walk out of this right now?” during the wedding reception.
- Describing the wedding reception to MAFS producers as “an absolute abortion” after she wasn’t provided with a pescetarian meal.
- Yelling out “Get into him… She’s so frigid” during Lauren and Eliot’s first dance.
- Storming out of the wedding reception and then telling a producer, “I’m the bride’s sister. Everyone got food except for me [and] my drink wasn’t filled up for like an hour. You guys have been atrocious to me… You guys have been the worst, I’m very annoyed. You’ve ruined my ******* mood… I’ve got PTSD over weddings now.”
Iconic. We have a feeling Tamara is going to go down in MAFS history as the most memorable family member of a participant.
But who is Lauren’s sister, Tamara?
Tamara is the Director and Selling Principal at Tamara Hall Properties.
The official website for Tamara Hall Properties describes her as “one of the most sought-after property advisers in Australia.”
Shortly after the episode aired, Tamara took to Instagram and teased a “tell-all.”
“I know how it looks — I watched the same episode as everyone else, and without context, I totally get it. But there’s over 18 hours of footage you didn’t see,” she began.
“I’ll be sharing a tell-all soon, so stay tuned! Just a little reminder — this is a reality TV show, heavily edited to get the highest [sic] ratings, and I earned the villain badge by refusing to conform,” Tamara continued.
“It’s not real life guys, so don’t take it too personally! It’s out of my control [sic], so I’m fully embracing it — the good, the bad, and the ugly.”
