While marking the 10th anniversary of Coach Core – a UK based sports charity for young people – Catherine looked radiant in a cobalt blue vintage Chanel double-breasted jacket.

She paired the statement coat with Roland Mouret black trousers and her Gianvito Rossi black suede pumps, both of which we have seen the duchess wear before.

Prince William and Princess Catherine visited the Copper Box Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to support Coach Core, which trains disadvantaged young people to become coaches, as well as encourages the next generation of athletes.

The program was launched by Prince William, Princess Catherine and Prince Harry in 2012 as part of the Royal Foundation; it is now an independent charity. It was created in response to the London riots and to represent the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As always, the royals were enthusiastic to get involved with the sports sessions. The heir apparent was even spotted playing football and having a go at boxing. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cornwall played bocce ball.

The king-to-be also gave a poignant speech for the occasion.

“Sport has an incredible way of providing hope, connection and opportunity, and when Coach Core was established ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, it was designed to use that power to help change young people’s lives,” William said.

He added: “We all face barriers and challenges in life, and these can sometimes take incredible bravery to overcome. Not only have you faced these down, you have positively impacted the lives of others along the way and inspired many more. We are incredibly excited to see what the future holds for all of you.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales also marked the anniversary on their official Instagram page, sharing a slew of photos from the visit.

“Skills for sport, work and life,” the caption read.
