Princess Charlotte reportedly has the same “brilliant” talent that her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, had.
According to royal author Phil Dampier, the only daughter of Prince William and Princess Catherine is very good at impressions; something Her Majesty was also good at.
“I’m told Charlotte has also inherited from the late Queen a brilliant ability to mimic prominent figures,” Phil told Hello!
“That should come in handy at Christmas when the royals gather in the evening at Sandringham to play charades,” he continued.
“Queen Elizabeth used to have her family in stitches with her impersonations of politicians, including US Presidents and former Russian leader Boris Yeltsin.”
Of course, royalists have said for years that Charlotte bears a striking resemblance to her great-grandmother.
So it’s unsurprising that they share a few personality traits too.
And it’s not just a knack for impressions!
Apparently, Charlotte showed wisdom beyond her years while her mother underwent cancer treatment.
“I’m told that although the Princess of Wales has obviously been looking after her children during her cancer treatment, and reassuring them she is getting better, Charlotte has been a great source of strength to her,” Phil said.
“Winston Churchill once said of the late Queen Elizabeth when she was a child that he had never seen such maturity in someone so young, and Charlotte seems to have inherited that trait from her great-grandmother,” he added.
“Charlotte seems to have an inner strength which may one day become invaluable as she is third in line to the throne.”
Charlotte isn’t just following in her great-grandmother’s footsteps though.
The young princess loves ballet just like her grandmother, the late Princess Diana, did.
The British royal family clearly has very strong genetics…
